Abstract &Minimal Art

Natali Valianou, is a contemporary artist based in Athens, Greece. Her practice can be described as “sculptures on canvas” due to the dominant forms and textures that she is applying to her artworks. Gold leaves, fabrics, acrylics and glue, are some of the main materials that compose her minimalistic creations.Traces of her studies on clinical phychology are being depicted in her work, as she conveys brain waves, reaction patterns and other elements of social behaviour into shapes, colours and textures.
